Currently my b/f is trying to fix my computer since it crashed (we installed vista, and bought new RAM, but the ram seems to be failing...) So I'll have to rely on my laptop for now... (although it is nearly dead itself)

This is =mayshing character Angel from her manga e-depth for her 'draw my OC contest'. I choose Mucha's style because I personally think the symbolism used in this picture suits Angel. The light bringer in times of need, although it aquires quite a bit of a sacrifise sometimes (hence the cold feet etc)...Though she never gives up. And that's what I like so much about her character in the manga. Her childly innocence, and true intentions are very touching. She has an unspoiled nature and is a very kind girl.

Those familiar with art history, and the art nouveau style in particular might recognize the symbolism and meaning behind the picture.

Many hours of fun with a linear and compass...Alphonse Mucha really is famous for his composition and was a great composition teacher. It's not easy to come close to any of his wonderfull and remarkable designs. They are very complicated, but I tried something of my own, and I hope I succeeded... ;___;
